Dermot Malone's feature film King Frankie which was IFTA nominated for Best Film, Twelve Dates ‘Til Christmas for Hallmark which was directed by Emer Conroy & Megan K. Fox and My Good Samaritan for ITV which was directed by Lana Salah. She has also appeared in several award-winning short films which have screened at film festivals globally, these include: La Tumba with Peter McGann, Lambing with Pat Shortt and Whale Fall for which she won the ‘Best Actress’ award at the Little Cinema Film Festival Galway.
Rebecca has won multiple awards and bursaries as a writer, including for scriptwriting, and both long and short form narrative fiction.
She became a West-End producer with her first production: a revival of ‘BASH Latter Day Plays’, which she solo-produced at 26 years of age.

Rebecca Hickey is an award-winning fimmaker from Dublin, Ireland and founder of Arna Pictures. An arrestingly warm new voice in Irish cinema, she is celebrated for showcasing the extraordinary charm hidden within ordinary, everyday lives.
Rebecca previously wrote and directed 'Hot Chocolate' and 'The Performance Review'. They both had hugely successful film festival runs and were award-winners at Dublin International Comedy Film Festival. Her current film ‘Regressions’ will have its World Premiere during the 2026 film festival circuit.
Rebecca trained as an actor at ArtsEd in London (BA Hons. Degree) and RADA (screen acting). She has acted in Film, TV and on multiple West-End stages in London.
